For optimal results, we advise that you adapt the motor horsepower and rotation speed necessary along with the diameter and use of the brush.  The brush should never be crushed on the work piece being treated.  Only the ends of the wires assure the brushing effect.  An application too strong produces an opposite of the effect researched:  the brush life diminished breaking and ejection of wires.
